PRESNENSKY VAL

The masterplan aims to create a new mix-use (predominantly residential) neighborhood for 6,250 inhabitants. The demand for high residential density (440 dwellings/ha) is based on the fact that the site is situated right next to the Belorusskaya train station – one of the major train stations in Moscow.
The site used to be the factory/workshop site for locomotives constructed at the dawn of 20 century, and the beauty of the site is characterized by red-brick clad buildings. And it is also relevant to mention that the place is known as the birthplace of the Russian revolution of 1905 where workers were gathering at this very spot to plan the revolution.
