PLANNING OF SUN YAT-SEN UNIVERSITY SHENZHEN CAMPUS

Shenzhen campus is one of the main campuses of Sun Yat-sen University which is a key university in China. Shenzhen campus would have engineering and medical school with major characteristics, with comprehensive academic strengths as a university park and efforts to serve the country. The project is to build a complete discipline system of Liberal arts, science, medical and engineering, and a complete training system ranges from undergraduate to doctoral.

Building area in total 2,200,000sqm, in two phases，first phase1,200,000sqm，second phase 10,000,000sqm. Planning and design of the campus on the south of new Pongtou River（include the landscape design along the river), north of Gongchang Rd and surround Zhugong Mt(about 150.82ha). the planning should meet the requirements of basic infrastructures for the four groups disciplines(medical, engineering, liberal arts, and science). Before August 2018, the 1,200,000sqm of the first phase should be completed.

Planning and design of the campus on the north of new Pongtou River(now170.33haof farmland)，the planning is to improve the infrastructures for the four groups disciplines. Sep 2018—Aug 2021, the 1,000,000sqm of the first phase should be completed.
